Tikal National Park Tours: Privacy Policy
Short version: this site is static HTML, it sets no cookies of its own, it runs no analytics, and it asks you for nothing. Last reviewed 2026-09-10.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no account, no form, no newsletter and no comment box on this site. We set no first-party cookies and use no analytics package, so we do not know who you are, where you came from or which pages you read.
Third parties, and exactly when they are involved
Booking links
When you click a booking button you leave this site for Viator. From that moment Viator’s privacy policy applies, not ours. The link carries a partner identifier so the platform can attribute the booking to us; it carries nothing about you.
The park’s ticket platform
Links to boletos.culturaguate.gob.gt take you to the Ministry of Culture and Sports’ own ticket site. Anything you enter there is between you and the ministry.
Maps
Any map on this site stays blank until you press its button. Nothing is requested from a map provider, and no cookie is set, before you ask for it. That is why there is no cookie banner here.
Hosting and search tools
Our host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as every web server does. We have verified this domain with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools; those show us aggregate search statistics and never identify an individual visitor.
Fonts, scripts and embeds
There are no web fonts from a third party, no tag managers, no advertising scripts and no social widgets. The only JavaScript is a few lines that update the “last checked” date and load a map when you ask for one, and it runs in your browser.
Children
This site is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Where the EU GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, you have rights of access, rectification and erasure over personal data held about you. We hold none. If you have written to us, that email exists, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If we ever added analytics or a form, this policy would say so before it happened.
